Service Description

At Going Beyond School, our Social Emotional Learning class helps young children build the essential life skills they need to thrive both in school and at home. In this engaging and supportive environment, students will learn how to understand and manage their emotions, show empathy for others, build strong friendships, and make thoughtful choices. Through fun, age-appropriate activities such as storytelling, interactive games, role-playing, music, art, and group discussions, children will explore topics including: Identifying and expressing feelings, Calming strategies and emotional regulation, Kindness, empathy, and respecting others, Problem-solving and conflict resolution, Building confidence and resilience, and Working together as a team With a maximum of just 12 students, each child receives plenty of individual attention and opportunities to participate. This small group setting creates a safe, caring classroom community where every student feels heard, valued, and supported as they grow. Parents often notice improvements in their child’s self-awareness, social skills, emotional regulation, and overall confidence after participating in this class. These foundational skills help children succeed academically and develop into kind, capable, and emotionally strong individuals.
